Who Is Matthew
Matthew Ayorinde is highly curious, motivated, and open to learning in all areas of life, both personal and professional. Passionate about problem-solving and uncovering the ‘why’ in various situations through his studies in philosophy, he has been inspired to pursue a career in UX Design with a specialty in website design. His mission is to create customized website to help business owners generate their dream customers.
With over 3 years of certified training, processes, and completed projects, Matthew launched his website design agency with MCMATT WEB DESIGN.
Matthew's Story
Matthew is the second of three children in a Catholic family of five who grew up in Ogun State, Nigeria. Growing up, he was fascinated by how web applications work, which led him to take classes in graphic design. During his studies, he fell in love with web design and considered it as a career opportunity for the future.
In September 2022, Matthew took the difficult step of leaving his family back home in Nigeria to pursue a Master’s in Philosophy at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, where he graduated with distinctions. After completing his Master’s, he enrolled in the Google UX Design Certification program, where he developed his skills in design processes, user experience, UX research, wireframing, prototyping, mockups, Figma, and usability testing.
At this point in his career, he is open to full-time, part-time, and internship roles as a Web Designer and UX Designer. His forte includes projects such as corporate websites, tech websites, e-commerce websites, and restaurant websites. During his free time, he enjoys going to the gym, taking a walk and meeting new people.
